A gather of molten glass is sculpted and fumed with a gossamer blue veil. A gather of clear is applied over the first which is also fumed.

A hollow air space is added simulating a splash before casing the entire design in crystal clear glass and a silver mirror finish.

After annealing, the entire sculpture is ground flat on two sides and polished to a high finish.

The fountains of Versailles (seen below) provide the perfect backdrop for this final version of our fountain series.

When King Louis XIV built his fountains, he constructed a complex of fourteen enormous water wheels thirty-six feet wide, driving 220 pumps.

The amount of water needed for the fountains was not much less than that used by the entire city of Paris.

"You have been so wonderful in your communications regarding our order. It has been such an incredible pleasure doing business with you."

Michelle Van Lingen, Amgen, Louisville, KY
