Glaciers are large bodies of ice that form over centuries when snow accumulation exceeds melting and sublimation.

Our Glacier is made up of an ice blue transparent reduction glass that is fused into a gather of virgin white. Threads of color are spun into the design which is blown and pressed into a diamond steel optic. Crystal clear casing glass completes the effect.

The blue color in glaciers results from overtones created by oxygen-hydrogen bonds in water which absorb red light. Glacial water purity does the rest.

The largest glacial bodies, continental glaciers, are several miles deep and cover more than 20,000 square miles.

Glacier ice is the largest reservoir of freshwater on Earth and supports one third of the world's population.

99% of glacial ice is contained within the vast ice sheets of our polar regions, but glaciers are also found in the mountain ranges of every continent except Australia.
